Reservation Priority

  1. 1Lock the effect that defines the target build.
  2. 2Keep one defensive or recovery layer if it protects uptime.
  3. 3Use the final leftover budget for damage, comfort, or a patch-specific swap.

Use this as a target version

This template assumes stronger Spirit gear than a fresh character is likely to have. It is best used as a target version, not a leveling requirement.

Keep a separate current setup for the character you can play today, then compare each upgrade against the target package.

Review it after major patches

Endgame-style packages are more sensitive to balance changes because they combine several persistent effects.

When a patch changes skills, supports, or enemy pressure, review the build-defining effect first and optional reservations second.

0.5.0 live-patch check

For live Return of the Ancients planning, use this template as a target review after the current setup is already saved. Expensive endgame packages should wait for verified Spirit totals, support behavior, and gear text before becoming a purchase plan.

If a new league reward, Idol of Uldurn change, or Spirit modifier fix moves a breakpoint, update the target version and leave the current playable link unchanged.

Patch Review Note

This is a target review preset. Do not treat it as a required endgame package or a current patch tier list while 0.5.0 values are still being verified in game.

FAQ

Should I buy gear just to match this template?

No. Use the template to test whether the target reservation package is worth the gear tradeoffs for your build.

Why keep a current setup and a target setup?

It prevents the build from depending on gear you do not have yet while still giving every future upgrade a clear purpose.
