PoE2 Minion Starter Spirit Template
Open a conservative Path of Exile 2 Spirit planner template for a permanent minion starter setup with room for support effects.
Template Intent
Help minion players open a practical starting point before deciding whether the next Spirit breakpoint should become another minion or an aura.

Reservation Priority
- 1Keep the build-defining permanent minions active first.
- 2Check remaining Spirit before adding an aura or defensive buff.
- 3Use the next Spirit upgrade only if it unlocks a package you can keep active.
Who should start with this template
Use this template when the build is centered on permanent minions and you want to avoid planning the aura package before the minion package actually fits.
The values are intentionally conservative. They are a planning baseline, not a claim that every minion build should use this exact setup.
How to adjust it
If your current character has less Spirit, remove the lowest-priority minion or test a smaller support package first.
If you have more Spirit, compare one extra minion against a defensive aura or buff instead of automatically spending everything on damage.
0.5.0 live-patch check
For live Return of the Ancients planning, treat this as the current playable baseline before copying a stronger minion setup. Save the starter version first, then compare a target version after checking the relevant Spirit and minion values in game.
If Tame Beast, Wardbound Minions, Infernal Legion, or gear Spirit changes affect your package, update the active reservations one at a time instead of assuming the whole minion plan is wrong.
Patch Review Note
Minion and support values are patch-sensitive. During the live 0.5.0 patch, recheck official notes and in-game values before treating this as a finished build.
FAQ
Is this a full minion build guide?
No. It is a Spirit planning preset that helps you test whether the reservation package fits before reading deeper minion guides.
Should I keep all minions active while leveling?
Only if the package fits cleanly and the rest of the character still has enough damage and defense. Use this template as a starting point.
