Reservation is the active cost of persistent effects

When a skill reserves Spirit, it takes part of the total budget while the effect remains active. The more persistent effects you add, the less unreserved Spirit remains.

This is why a build can feel fine with one aura active but fail when minions, buffs, or trigger-style effects are added later.

Remaining Spirit is the pass or fail number

Remaining Spirit is total Spirit minus reserved Spirit. A positive number means the planned package fits. A negative number means the setup is overreserved.

Use remaining Spirit to make decisions quickly: add Spirit, remove a reservation, or change the package priority.

Rank reservations before toggling everything on

A clean reservation plan separates required effects from optional effects. Required effects define the character. Optional effects are improvements that should only stay if the budget supports them.

Enter required effects first in the planner, then add optional reservations one at a time.

Patch changes can invalidate old reservation plans

Reservation costs, supports, and skill behavior can change after updates. A saved setup should be rechecked after major patches.

If a plan suddenly stops working, compare the current active reservation list against the last version that worked.

FAQ

What does reserved Spirit mean?

It is the amount of Spirit currently used by active persistent effects such as auras, buffs, minions, or meta gems.

How do I reduce Spirit reservation?

Disable lower-priority effects, change the reservation package, or add enough Spirit for the current package to fit.

Plan the setup

Use the aura reservation guide for aura packages or the overreserved guide if the setup fails.
